Compression method
Quick clean (lossless)
Rebuilds the file structure and strips redundant data. Keeps text selectable and searchable, but only shrinks size modestly best for text-heavy PDFs.
Image compression
Converts each page to a compressed image. Gives much bigger size reductions on scanned or image-heavy PDFs, but text is no longer selectable or searchable afterward.
Image quality
Good balance between file size and readability.
